This film revolves around the ancient art of storytelling, unfolding in turn in three tales, three eras and three rapturous visual approaches: animated hieroglyphics for an ancient Egyptian epic, a medieval legend that takes up Lotte Reiniger's silhouettes, and a Turkish fantasy full of arabesques with Ottoman patterns.
