In the Dark

Dark matter remains one of the biggest mysteries of science. A substance without which galaxies, planets, or even people would not exist, is virtually impossible to examine, and the essence of its existence cannot be fully explained. In northeastern England, three scientists attempt to solve the issue of proving the existence of elusive particles. Those particles make up dark matter and dictate the form of our world as we know it. Dozens of years of research have yet to bring conclusive results but that only fuels the determination of the scientists. Among other things, they say that to end the research and lose hope would be more terrifying to them than to not observe dark matter during their careers at all. (Academia Film Olomouc)
