angol It took less than three decades for Anne Rice's famous saga to receive a worthy series adaptation. Her "The Vampire Chronicles" (and "The Mayfair Witches") have gone on to have 18 books in total. There has been nonstop speculation about a sequel to Interview with the Vampire since 1994. I am thus greatly satisfied that Anne, together with her son Christopher, has seen the start of production of several concurrent series and that she has approved the scripts, etc. Although she did not live to see the premiere - she died at the end of last year - her work continues to be nurtured by Christopher, who had already established himself as her successor during her lifetime. Together with his mother he wrote, for example, the second and third parts of "The Mummy," or "Ramses the Damned." So how is the beginning of the "Interview with the Vampire" series? Very pleasant. Yes, there are a lot of changes, but not against the sense of the substance. Louis's vampire birth was moved to 1910 from 1791. This time he is not the plantation owner, who is mourning the loss of his wife, and he attracts Lestat with his noisy suicide attempts. On the contrary, Louis is a pimp, seeking his place in the sun and trying to defend his role in the family and in the underworld... Jacob Anderson and Sam Reid are incredible, malleable, and sexy, so I'll definitely indulge in all the films at least once. ()
