Lobo solitario

An immigrant has promised his small son that he will talk to his teacher about an unfair scolding, but his limitations with the language makes him unable to do so. With his son’s disappointment on his back, he begins his daily routine of looking for a job when he realizes that his son’s favorite book, which he had entrusted him that morning on the streetcar, has been lost. Humiliated and upset, he desperately goes around his new city, still too alien, trying to communicate in a language he cannot master, in order to recover the book before facing his son’s disappointment once again when the time comes to pick him up from school.
