I have never really liked narratives in the form of flashbacks, and to be honest, this is one big flashback. Its meaning is clear; it was time to explain to the audience why Miyuki Shiba is like a puppy dog to his brother Tatsuya Shiba who is generally so cold, with one minor exception. The explanations are strange, quite bizarre at least for Tatsuya, however, somehow they work, and I even found them believable. The rest is similar to both (Irregular and Honor) of the anime series. It is a journey into the depths of the female protagonist’s soul and a demonstration of how much the main male protagonist is OP. I do not particularly care for the first one; the latter is pretty fun. I am curious to see where this narrative will be headed from here because I am no closer to the answer than I was two hours ago. I am just getting an informational and character-building flashback, albeit a pretty interesting one. 6/10.
