Jorge is afraid: it seems inevitable that Juana, who has already lost her identity twice, will end up forgetting him. The first loss was forced on her by the dictatorship in Chile; the second by Alzheimer’s. Anticipating the imminent disappearance of his wife’s world, Jorge probes into her disrupted memory with music, writings, and images—hoping to find the fragments of a life, the remnants of his love.
