Fumihazušita haru (1958)

angol Seijun Suzuki was good at capturing the current face of Japan quite realistically, especially from the perspective of the young, but he added violence to that world that is almost noir in nature, which is matched by the color, i.e., black and white, of his films. This film is good evidence of that.

The Farthest (2017)

angol This is an interesting documentary that looks at life on planet Earth through the eyes of one satellite that has long since gone where no other has gone before, from the perspectives of the specialists who present their views here. It's definitely a film about how you can expand your horizons of what a person wants and can do.

Felkavart víz (1975)

angol The movie "The Return of Lew Harper" has a good actor in the main eagle, there is no doubt about that, it has quite interesting actors in supporting roles, a case that is not explicitly boring, but I must also emphasize that I sometimes had a feeling that it was a bit aimless, not to mention that it was really long towards the end.

High teen jakuza (1962)

angol Seijun Suzuki shows in a quite realistic way what minor gang or criminal wars can look like for individuals who are still young and who should be primarily concerned with school. It doesn’t have great action, but it's hardly about that - it's more about the fact that this could easily happen in society and probably did.

Takeshis' (2005)

angol Takeshi Kitano is a personality of Japanese film and television, he has had quite an interesting life and also some problems, which he seems to confess in the film "Takeshis'" in a surreal form, when it is not easy to understand what is actually happening and where it is heading. That is why the film is quite interesting.

Still Life (2013)

angol This is a small film, one of those that can charm you, even if such films are not necessarily cheerful. Indeed, the message of Still Life is rather sad. Eddie Marsan was perfectly chosen for the role and it suited him perfectly. The film's finale is tragically beautiful, something not every director manages to pull off this well.

Valami vadság (1986)

angol Something wild, and maybe something weird. I admit that the film had a very strange effect on me. On the one hand, it's in comedy mode, but then we get some pretty daring erotic scenes, then a road movie-style comedy, and finally it becomes almost a thriller. Somehow it all fits together, but I still couldn't enjoy the film very much.

Stop Making Sense (1984)

angol Talking Heads is definitely not the type of band that I listen to, which is due to the fact that I basically didn't know them at all. Some of their songs, yes, but not the band itself. However, the documentary is so well made that even though the music didn't really appeal to me, I enjoyed watching the musicians. Some of the plays of light and shadow were also great.

A martfűi rém (2016)

angol This is a very unpleasant crime film that is particularly good in the way it manages to portray individual crimes. They're not necessarily explicit, although that does happen, but it's how they will affect you that makes them really uncomfortable. When there are more explicit moments, they are really uncomfortable to watch.

The Nagano Tapes (2018)

angol This is a great documentary that revisits one of the most important events in Czech modern history. Yes, Nagano was important, which we realize in retrospect just by the way it lifted the nation, which hasn't happened to this extent since. Great interviews, great memories, great shots, and great players on all sides.
