A gentle anti-western about donuts, a sad cow, men who like to clean up, and a country to which history is yet to come. The moment when Gary Farmer appears on the screen is just confirmation of the fact that since the time of Dead Man, this productive subgenre has not produced anything even half as subtle, elegant, well-directed, excellently written and peculiarly acted. I applaud.

Haha, Netflix found another Joe Exotica. Booorrriinngg ... I thought to myself for about 20 minutes, but then I just watched in consternation as this asexual creature from the planet Love drew me into his world of absolute goodness and warmth. In the end, a fascinating portrait of a television personality emerged, which contains the most beautiful of cult leaders, only completely devoid of the deposits of sexuality and power games. It's filmed with feeling (except for the awful animation) and actually absolutely feelgood / touching.

Disintegrating, pace-free, dramatic structure, slightly naive in its seriousness... nevertheless, in the second half, the strange cheesy girl's individuality, well-acted characters and solid actions began to draw me into the world so much that I was inclined toward watching the second part. It's a bit like Underworld for intellectuals and is a very long series pilot, which could possibly get going in the second season.

A beautifully naive old school war epic about a soldier of Christ who resists the Germans in slippers. It’s a nice idea to turn a procedural perspective on its head and see the hunt for U-boats from the other side of the surface. If Hanks forgot about the completely necessary personal and religious mess and left it as 91 minutes of action zigzagging in front of submarines, it could have been downright catchy. This way, it’s catchy and funny, but I won't pretend that it’s worth watching throughout the footage. The perfect movie for Grandpa Simpson. And also for those who like U-571 and submarine movies in general.

Great documentary work. A smooth transition between birth and death, between the panoramas of Manhattan, cramped halls and the micro-perspective of exposed brains. Layered, touching, perfectly dramaturgically-composed and, as a result, cleansing by how intensely it thematises finiteness and helplessness. And how un-pathetically it celebrates tenacity of doctors and patients.

This has a great premise, a nice cast (Bijvoet and Kurtulus are great), and a significant amount of hope, and the result is a fun disaster-themed Alarm for Cobra 11. It can be binged, but if they're serious about taking it more seriously in the next series, more along the lines of the book, this plane could get its snout kicked in badly.

Undoubtedly the best anti-drug instructional film ever made, because after watching this stereotypical bore fest of bragging celebrities, I'd rather shoot myself in the leg than put a piece of paper in my mouth and risk that my trip will be as disgusting and demented as the additional flash animation and retarded high school sitcom.

For me, Jordan comes off as a controversial and not exactly sympathetic character of a man obsessed with control and a sense of power, which the filmmakers manage to confront their star with. The series has a great structure and it's emotionally paced. Great job!

It is commendable that the documentary gives a voice to the victims, which the American judicial system has denied them for years. What is less commendable is that if some of the victims do not reflect their role in the whole "pedophile pyramid", the documentary will not do it for them. There is little investigation, plenty of claims, and few arguments. In addition, it has a fairly repetitive, dead structure. This needed something more. In some ways it feeds the fog around Epstein rather than enlightening it.

This is a PR documentary that has a clear motivational and activating aspect, but unfortunately does not have any life and energy. It is a carefully controlled collection of quotes and insightful poses that persuade the convinced. Knock Down The House went much more to the core and had a better dramatic structure and energy.
