Laulu koti-ikävästä (2012)

angol The documentary is musical, which is reflected in the fact that several times the film is interrupted by a two to three-minute recording of a band playing a song related to the topic under discussion. This is remarkable, but it distracts viewers from the main duo, who are interesting and entertaining (guitarist of the former Finnish rock band Aknestic Kai Latvalehto and his father) - unfortunately, too little time is devoted to their excellent mutual conversations. Sadly, the film around them, which deals with the question of the existential identity of people with Finnish-Swedish roots, is too long and boring.

A Föld után (2013)

angol Shyamalan once again showed that he is not that bad of a director, but also that he really should not write screenplays. The story is primitive, full of dementia and clichés. Smith Jr. in the lead role is also no money-maker. This interesting topic (from Will Smith's brain) could certainly have been more than an expensive-looking and story-free sci-fi about a father-son relationship.

A burok (2013)

angol It's definitely not science fiction. The introduction has good pace, but the absence of a story deadens the film after twenty minutes, and for the rest of the film a few characters talk boringly to each other in an underground shelter in the desert. The dialogues are banal or even comically naive, there is almost no tension or action (there is only one action scene lasting 20 seconds). The technological aspects do not work because they are not explained in any way during the course of the film. In addition, the creators failed to draw tension, fatefulness or stronger emotions from the scenes. Because of this, the result amount to stupid, superficial, unreliable storytelling empty of content that passes you by without a chance to make a positive impact.

A csajok háborúja (2009)

angol A comedy about weddings probably shouldn't have the effect of discouraging a man from getting married. Based on this film, you might come to think that if you ask your girl to marry you, she will become such an insidious, evil, unsympathetic, hysterical and screaming bitch. Plus, it's unfunny, stupid, and arrogant.

A hobbit - Váratlan utazás (2012)

angol Basically, I have a lot of reservations about The Hobbit, but I still have to admit that Jackson did a good job, though not always as he intended. Dividing the story into three parts turned out to be a terrible solution to the small content of the original book, and it just kills the film. A number of additional motifs, sub-plots and links were added to the austere story, and they are mostly completely useless and only extend the runtime. The Hobbit cannot be compared to any of The Lord of the Rings films, but the film is not that much of tragedy in terms of other ordinary productions. Rather than an epic fantasy, however, the film is reminiscent of an adventurous fairy tale for younger audiences. It’s a weaker version of The Lord of the Rings without grandeur and destiny. 60%

The Room (2003) Boo!

angol This thing goes completely beyond any ordinary standards. It doesn't matter at all about the percentage or star rating, and instead of Boo!, I could easily write a huge WTF and not evaluate it. In my opinion, whether you give it five stars or Boo! only depends on if you like the protagonists of the film and you laugh at them, or if you hate them completely and want to kill them. (For me, the second feeling was stronger.) I definitely have nothing against users who give it the best rating, because I can vividly imagine how they had a great time watching it. In any case, The Room is an incredible piece of shit, the horror of which is unspeakable. If you try to imagine all the possible conceivable mistakes that a filmmaker can make in a film, then here they are. They should show this in film schools as a demonstration of how not to make a film. Tommy Wiseau is an alien from the planet Cesspool. I can't think of any other explanation.

A legsötétebb óra (2011)

angol Like Cowboys & Aliens, in this film true stupidity and the perverted fun associated with it go hand in hand. The film is often boring - watching a small group of survivors running around depopulated Moscow quickly gets tiring. Due to the 3D, it's too dark, the screenplay is not worth talking about, and the soundtrack is a mess. Only the effects are worthwhile. After seeing the excellent trailer, the film is quite a disappointment. (Battle Los Angeles + Cowboys & Aliens + Ghostbusters = The Darkest Hour). The film gets points for the apocalyptic Russian cavalry commando.

Parajelenségek 3 (2011)

angol Incredibly boring. I appreciate the authenticity, coherence and stylization until the end of the 80's, but you have to wait three quarters (!) of an hour for a real scare. In contrast to the fairly good part 2, this is more of a return to the first part, where the biggest scares are doors slamming and duvets lifting. The final point is quite nice, but it doesn't add much to the final score.

Újabb parajelenségek (2010)

angol I don't understand how it is possible that the second Paranormal Activity has a worse rating than the first one. In the first film, the duvet was just rising into the air and the door was slamming, and there was a lot of chatter. It was really boring nonsense. At least there is something really going on in this one, and although it's not anything special at the beginning (a pool cleaner, falling pans, doors banging again...), it gradually escalates and from the halfway point I was often staring with my mouth wide open. I also have to appreciate the clever connection to the first part. The conclusion could be better and the filler from the first half should be edited a little more, but otherwise I do not have many reservations this time. This is an obvious example that the well-known rule that sequels tend to be worse is not always the case.

Barátság extrákkal (2011)

angol Much better than No Strings Attached, but it's also no prize. The whole thing follows a typical template from beginning to end. Far more sympathetic and believable than the main protagonists were almost all of the supporting characters, undoubtedly the best of which was the perfect Woody Harrelson. The guy is just divine. I also expected it to be even funnier, even though the gag with the mobile app to identify "women's days" is perfect.
