Pethushka

I was bored as hell for most of the movie, sitting around and actually waiting for a few brighter spots. The bright spots were definitely not worth it though, so I left the cinema pretty bored and annoyed. Worse, though, was that the person who talked me into seeing this "major motion picture" (major only in terms of its running time) was even angrier than I was. 2.5 stars.

A wonderful and endearing cast, a good script, and a beautiful ending. I can't even call it light entertainment, because South Korean films simply aren't that light. I liked the chicken pajamas best though! I'm giving it 4 stars so far and I'll think about a fifth one... So I've been thinking, and here’s the 5 stars.

I have to admit that the animation is really terrible. But a little kid usually doesn't care about that. For the target audience (I assume kids under 8) the story is nice and the characters are charming. So it serves its purpose.

I didn't decide on the fourth star until the last 10 minutes. And that's because of the "clever" ending. Unfortunately, I didn't feel any love or much drama from the film. That's why I’m rating the film purely as a slightly above average comedy that isn't a complete cliché. A bit disappointing, 3.5 stars.

This fairy tale has meant a lot to me since early childhood. I used to look for the schnozz tree in the gardens and sing "No need, no need" to myself. Fantastic lines and great actors. I believe it will remind me of wonderful moments for a long, long time.

I am thrilled with every minute of it. I laughed my heart out several times and shed a tear at the end. I'm almost sorry the movie is over. I have to give extra praise to the acting here, even though I didn't like the main character at first. The moving music was also beautiful and accurate. For now (only) 4.5 stars.

I was pleasantly surprised that the next Hangover would be in Bangkok. Although for such a beautiful city, there was surprisingly little of it. I'm starting to adore Zach G. because his acting is truly incredible. The second one lags a little (really just a little) in terms of the story, but it was still a party from start to finish. After Alan's toast, half the theater even started clapping. That doesn't happen that often. End credits photo collage even better than the one from Vegas! So I'm satisfied.

A contradictory film – either you love it or you don't understand how anyone can love it. I'm one of those who doesn't get it. Too overcooked for me. The film certainly doesn't deserve to carry Beckham in its title. The only positive thing here is the beautiful Keira. Nothing else.

An extremely funny comedy with beautiful music and a likeable cast. The biggest credit goes to Tae-hyeon Cha, of course. I just couldn't get over the fact that he was playing a grandfather for the entire movie. The story may be quite clichéd but the way it was conceived is more than original. 5 stars and I have to see it again... at least a couple of times.

At long last another movie that deserves its title. Not sure if it was a comedy, romance, drama, or sports movie. But in any case, it delivered with a lightness and humility that American movies lack. I never know if it's a time to laugh or cry silently. I found the ending quite comical, but it's actually terribly romantic too. My head is pleasantly racing.
