Director, screenwriter and producer from Australia. Born in 1969 in Melbourne, she was educated at Monash University. During the 1990s she worked as a production manager on TV shows, before decamping to the United States, where she has been greatly successful as a producer of documentaries, including Alex Gibney's "Taxi to the Dark Side" for which she won an Oscar in 2008. In 2013 she debuted as a director with the documentary "The Network", which was shown at festivals and on television all over the world. "Chasing Asylum" is her second documentary.
