Born in 1963, in the Canary Islands, Spain. After his primary studies in United States and his secondary studies in Tenerife, in 1984 he moves to Madrid to study Media Studies, Images field at the Complutense University of Madrid.

In these years, he participates in a series of experimental works in the group called Arté formed by several artists and filmmakers among who Juan Carlos Fresnadillo stands out. Together they established, in 1986, Zodiac Films, to produce several short films in 35mm, such as "Victima" (1987), ''El Extraño Pacto'' (1989), ''Por los Viejos Tiempos'' (1990), and obviously, ''Esposados'' (1994), the first Spanish short film nomimated for the Oscars.

For years, he has developed an intense task in favor of the development of the Canary audiovisual industry. He was vice president of the AEPAC (current origin ACEPA), and as such he took part in the committees which developed the first rules to regulate the sector.
After a period devoted to teaching and to other companies related to new technologies, in 2003 he directed "Misere Nobis", which was awarded First Prize in the Canary Forum of the International Festivas of Las Palmas.

In 2006 he received some help for the development of the project of his first feature film as director, temporary title "El Reflejo" (nowadays LA SENDA). Since then, he has written other two scripts for feature films, ''No Despiertes'' and ''Desconocido'', and produced the first feature film of Tinieblas González, ''Sin Alma''.
