Sergio Garcia de Leaniz has been project manager at Eurimages since 2012.

Prior to that, he worked as an executive producer at Televisión Española (TVE, Spain´s national pubcaster), where he executive produced the TV series “Stamos Okupa2” featuring Carmen Maura and supervised the development of TVE series such as “Isabel”, “Victor Ros”, “Los Misterios de Laura” and “Gran Reserva” amongst others.

He has a long film producing career with credits that include Vicente Aranda’s “Carmen”, feature documentary “Caminantes (Walkers)”, by Fernando León de Aranoa and Ouka Leele´s “Regard”, a Goya Award Nominee.

In addition, he has written, directed and produced the feature documentary “Cambio de sentido (Weapons of Mass Addiction)”, awarded and selected in numerous festivals, including the Warsaw Film Festival and Seminci.

Garcia de Leaniz worked in the international departments of renowned film companies in Spain and the US such as Star Line, Pentagrama Films and Agua Verde-KWA.

A Fulbright fellow with an M.F.A. in Screenwriting from Chapman University in California and EAVE Graduate, Garcia de Leaniz holds a business degree and earned an Audiovisual M.B.A. from the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid. He also studied at the ECAM, Madrid Official Film School.
