María Pavón

María Pavón is an audiovisual producer and director. Her films are recognizable for being close to the research made on the subjects of desire and sexuality of the woman, always from a political and pedagogical point of view. Some of her works and awards (obtained with Rut Suso) are Ester, First Audience Award at LesGaiCineMad 2005 for best Spanish Film, and Pasión por el Fútbol, Third Audience Award for Best Spanish Film at LesGaiCineMad 2006. Among her outstanding works, we must mention the creation of the rumba, Orgullo Nacional, and the National Pride Movement, distributed on a national level through viral marketing actions. María is also one of the people responsible for the creation and audiovisual production of the culture and art show VIHVO.
