Arend Agthe

Arend Agthe (1949) is a screenwriter, director and producer. He's gone from literature, theater and satire to co-creating comedy projects and films. He worked in TV making productions for children and youth, and later made detective films and dramas. He made his debut with the hit adventure film Rivertrip With Hen (Flußfahrt mit Huhn, 1984). Staying in the same genre he's directed The Summer of the Hawk (Der Sommer des Falken, 1988), The Wonder Years (Wunderjahre, 1991), and Karakum (1993).
