Carl Olsson lives in Copenhagen where he graduated from the National Film School of Denmark in 2013. His graduation film Blessed Be This Place was nominated for the Danish Academy Award, Robert 2014, and the prestigious Camerimage for its camerawork. The film has travelled to numerous festivals and won several international awards. His previous film from The Danish Film School, Mr Magdy, Room Number 17 Please, won Special Mention at Stockholm Int. Film Festival in 2013. He also has degrees from the Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts and Nordens Folkhögskola Biskops Arnö. Carl Olsson looks with a sharp and loving eye on the little human, exploring oddities in our systems and cultures, where we humans always seem to peep through the cracks in its systemic perfection.
