Életrajz
Mikhail Kaufman was born on September 4, 1897. Brother of Dziga Vertov and the American cinematographer Boris Kaufman. Sine 1922 he worked as a cameraman and director at the Moscow Film Factory Goskino, the Central Newsreel Studio. The leading cameraman of the Kinoko film group which was managed by Dziga Vertov. From 1941 he got into science films. He was working at the Moscow Science Film Studio (Central Science Film Studio). Died in 1980.
