Marco Danieli (1976) is a writer, director and editor on documentaries and television productions, while pursuing a parallel career as an independent filmmaker. In 2007 he graduated with a degree in directing from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia (Italy's National Film School). His short films have screened at some of the world's leading festivals, such as the Venice Film Festival. Since 2011 he has been a tutor for the directing course taught by Daniele Luchetti at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia. Worldly Girl is Danieli's first fiction feature film.
