Laha Mebow

Laha Mebow (in Chinese Chen Chieh-Yao, 1975) is a screenwriter, director and producer from Taiwan, the first female film director from among the local indigenous population. She graduated from the Department of Radio, Film and TV at the University Shih Hsin and her work emphasizes the particular theme of her origins and culture. She debuted with the feature film Finding Sajun (不 一樣 的 月光, 2011), after which she made the film Us Boys from the Mountains (只要 我 長大, 2016).
