Nicolas Deveaux

Writer and director of animated films, Nicolas Deveaux merges together two of his passions : imagery and the animal kingdom. Freshly graduated from the École supérieure d'infographie Supinfocom, he directs a short film, 7 tonnes 2, in 2003. Ten years later, he finishes a second short film, 5 mètres 80. In 2014, he works together with the Academy to produce 9 films to present the short films nominated to the Oscars shortlist. All the while, he cultivates a graphic and poetic style of writing akin to painting and drawing.
