Géraldine Doignon, born 1977 in Brussels, Belgium, graduated from IAD (Belgium) in 2000.
"Not finished" - her end of studies movie, has a great success in school movies festivals. Three years later, "Too young" (fiction, 20 mins.) won the Grand Prix at the Brussels Film Festival, before being selected by several international festivals, including Clermont-Ferrand and the FIPA. Produced in 2006, "Comme personne" a portrait of a mother who does no longer manage her life with her son, knows a similar success on the festival circuit (the film was notably selected at Brest Short Film Festival). "Living afterwards" is her first full-length film. She extends the exploration of the family links there by staging a father and his children confronted with the mourning and with the difficulty to communicate. In 2012, she directed her 4th short film, "The gherkin's syndrôme ", a bitter-sweet comedy about the thoughts of a thirty-year old man.
In 2015, she finished her second feature film, "Man overboard ".
