Meagan Good has become one of Hollywood's most sought-after young actresses. She played opposite Angela Bassett and Paula Patton in Jumping the Broom. She also garnered attention for her recurring role on the highest rated cable series on BET, "The Game," and Showtime's acclaimed series, "Californication."A versatile actress, Good was seen in the popular horror film Saw V and followed up with the thriller, The Unborn, opposite Odette Yustman. She was also a lead in the comedy Love Guru, opposite Mike Myers and Justin Timberlake. Good is well known from her role in Screen Gems' box-office hit Stomp the Yard, opposite Columbus Short, Ne-Yo and Brian White. She also played lead opposite Tyrese Gibson in Waist Deep.
In addition to acting in front of the camera, Good has also produced three of her own independent films. Miles from Home, an independent feature that Good executive produced and starred in opposite actor/director Ty Hodges, was well received on the independent film circuit. The film premiered at the Pan African Film & Arts Festival, Los Angeles, the Washington D.C. Independent Film Festival and the Atlanta Film Festival. It garnered numerous awards––best feature, best actor, best actress and best director. She also produced and starred in, Sundays in Fort Green and Video Girl, the "Gia"-esque film that depicts the sordid and misunderstood life of a music video superstar.
Some of Good's other credits include Roll Bounce, D.E.B.S., The Cookout, You Got Served, Biker Boyz, Deliver Us From Eva, Friday, The Secret Life of Girls, House Party 4 and 3 Strikes. Good received an NAACP Image Award for her acclaimed performance opposite Samuel L. Jackson in the eerie drama Eve's Bayou.
Born in Panorama City, Calif., Good began starring in commercials at age 4, and to date has completed more than 60 national television commercials. She made her prime-time television debut starring as Sarah's best friend, Katie, on The WB's, "Raising Dad." Good's first major television role was as a series regular on the TV hit "Cousin Skeeter." She also guest starred on various shows, including "Moesha," "Touched By An Angel," "The Steve Harvey Show," "The Famous Jett Jackson," "The Division" and "The Parenthood."
