Born 1958, Denmark. Apprenticed in animation at Bent Barfod Film, and has since directed and worked in the capacity of chief animator or animator on scores of films, receiving his international breakthrough in the early nineties with "A Troll in Central Park", "Thumbelina", "Fern Gully" and "The Last Rain Forest". Co-directed the boxoffice success "Jungledyret Hugo – den store filmhelt"/"Jungle Jack – The Star", which was honoured at Montreal. "Jungo Goes Bananas" is his second feature film in the capacity of co-director.
