If, like me, you like Saint-Saëns' The Carnival of the Animals and Daffy Duck and Bugs Bunny, you will enjoy this unusually long cartoon. The combination of live people (orchestra, conductor) and the animated pianists mentioned above was successful. Daffy and Bugs recite Ogden Nash's verses before each movement (you can imagine that each recites to different success with the audience, which is perfectly punctuated at the end, by the way), then the orchestra starts and we see imaginative and differently conceived short animated numbers accompanying the music. I had no idea that such a thing existed and I am pleasantly surprised. It's just a shame it didn't get to all the parts. ()
